Kafe Utu is probably the first and only African cafe in Singapore. The restaurant is nested in one of the traditional shophouses along Jiak Chuan Road. The African vibes are pretty evident from the set ups, decorations, furnitures and the menu items. Kafe Utu serves up brunch items, East and West African food, as well as specialty coffee. I really like the atmosphere and warm service at this African-themed cafe. It was beautifully done up, and I loved that the waitress share about the food we enquire on the menu so warmly and bubbly.
